Voice Mail System (VMS)

for GSM-Railway

The GSM-R Voice Mail System (VMS) is designed and optimized for the needs of railways. The primary tasks of the VMS are to receive and store voice messages and to forward notifications. The WINGCON VMS comprises standard voice mail features such as message replay, deletion of messages, auto-detection of mailbox users (also via their functional numbers) and alternate access via a DTMF passcode. A web interface for managing individual mailboxes is also available.

In addition, the VMS allows the customization of dialogues and offers various other options such as billing, statistics, or web-based interfaces. It supports GSM-R Functional Addresses and can also be used as a dictation machine.

The WINGCON GSM-R VMS is flexible and can be easily adapted to the needs of the respective network. It is fully inegrated into the modular WINGCON RMC and can also be offered along with other text or media messaging applications as single system. It is available in redundant configurations as well.
