The WINGCON GSM-R SMSC is a product tailored for railways that in addition to basic SMS functionality, offers railway specific additions like Functional Addressing support (including the resolution of these addresses via queries to the forward functional node), GSM-R priorities and the restriction of traffic between certain groups of users.

Of course, an interface to the Blackbox Recording Center is available as well. The SMSC is fully integrated into the modular WINGCON RMC and thus can also be offered along with other text and media messaging applications such as the CBC and the VMS in various redundancy configurations.
